Tim Coryell Memorial Fund

Education Grant

Tim Coryell dedicated his life to educating the community and trying to change lives, within the state of Indiana. Tim was a massive proponent of education, community outreach, drug counseling, and rehabilitation. Tim never met someone who he thought was “too far gone”. Tim always stood by the idea that everyone deserved a second chance and could change.

This education grant was created for students who are preparing to embark onto higher education, college. This grant awards a specific amount of money, yearly to one select student within the state of Indiana. If you are a student who wishes to apply for this grant, please review the following criteria, to be considered eligible:

  • Must be at-least a Senior in high school.

  • Must attend a high school within the state of Indiana.

  • Must have plans to attend a college, does not have to be within the state of Indiana.

  • Must have at-least a 3.0 GPA, consistently through your senior year.

  • Can have no record of suspensions within your entire high school tenure.

All funds that are awarded, must be utilized to pay for college related items/tuition. At the end of your spending, a receipt must be provided for the items or tuition that was paid, to show proper usage of the grant.

To be considered for the grant, you must submit the following documents, before May 15th 2025:

  • An essay of an undefined length that speaks about addiction and its connection to mental health, how public safety falls short in helping people suffering from mental health disorders and addiction, solutions to how public safety can improve to help in these areas, and any sources utilized.

  • A scanned (or photo) copy of report cards, from the first three quarters of your senior year.

  • Proof of application(s) to a college within the United States of America.

There is no application fee for applying for this grant, this grant is 100% based on donations accrued through donations and we will never ask any applicant for any type of payment.
