Mental Health Assistance

First Response Wellness Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health funding to individual first responders. Our organization is founded and governed by three deputies, who strongly believe in supporting those within the public safety profession. We offer mental health assistance to:

• Law Enforcement

• Dispatchers

• Firefighters

• EMS Personnel

We want to help first responders, because the odds are already stacked against us. The rate of suicide amongst first responders is astronomically high, if you are viewing this page on our website, we want to help you.

We provide direct funding to licensed mental health professionals, so you can have the sessions you need, to feel like you again. While we understand that the help you need may be long-term, we want to help you immediately, because we do not want to lose more great people to suicide.

First Response Wellness Foundation is based in, Indiana. However, we provide support services and funding nationwide. We never request any repayment, as long as the money is used appropriately and for the purpose it was requested for.

We do verify employment, to ensure you are a first responder, however, we will never disclose the reason we are verifying your status as a first responder. FRWF also provides training funding, so we will always verify employment utilizing the reason of training funding and not mental health funding.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 or 911 immediately. Our organization can take up-to 72 hours to review and respond to requests for funding.
